Ceri Slyman

Date of Birth

15 years serving in the Royal Marines and United Kingdom Special Forces

I joined the Royal Marines in 1997 at the age of 17 and carried out 2 tours of Iraq and 4 tours of Afghanistan. In total I spent 15 years in the Marine’s. Leaving in 2012, I spent 12 months on anti-piracy operations in the Indian Ocean preventing Somalian pirates hijacking ships. I then went on to Iraq to become a close protection Team Leader (Body Guard) for 3 years.

My aim at the minute is to get into the best possible shape under the guidance of my PT, Mark Owen and decide which direction I wish to pursue as I have only been lifting weights and seriously training for the last 12 months.

Negativity towards me fires my inner beast.

Favourite Tune to Train To?

Anything trance…..the harder, the better!

Why Fireball Labz?

I loved the brand from the first video that we did in the local gym. I’m over the moon that Fireball Labz decided to take me on as an athlete. With the rest of the team being likeminded athletes certainly pushes me to train harder.
